About Monica

Monica is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the digital domain. She has worked in different industries, including IT, Financial Services, Travel, Charities, Higher Education and Media. She has been an entrepreneur for 6 years and also supported startups as an advisor/enabler in a business incubator and accelerator. Throughout her career, Monica has designed and developed services and the technology to support them, as well as run their operation. ImaginAction was founded to support entrepreneurs, startups, small and established businesses in discovering their customers' needs, developing products and services they will love, and keep them coming back. Monica is passionate about helping people succeed, and will be delighted to roll up her sleeves and work with you.

Education

I've always been passionate about digital products and services, innovation, and how to create and deliver products that provide more value to customers.

Monica has a BA in Media Studies, an MBA, a scrum.org certification as a Product Owner, and is also certified in Kanban Systems Design by Kanban University. She also did a diploma at the University of the Arts London (Central St Martin's School of Art and Design) on How to Develop Your Products.

New Product Development

We can support your team through the Design Thinking process, and then transition into product creation using the Lean Startup framework. If you are building a software product, we can accompany its Agile crafting and then strategize with you through to launch and marketing of your new product.

Innovation Workshops

At our innovation workshops, your team will feel energised and playful. We will flex your creative muscles and take you through Design Thinking and Serious Play exercises to discover how you can evolve your business, create new products, redraw your customer journeys and experience, or pivot your current offering into a more rewarding one.

Service Design

Are you looking to develop new services, but it's still all up in the air? We can help you by facilitating a Design Thinking process, including customer needs discovery and user experience mapping. We will ensure that every touch point is covered and your interactions with customers are designed to run smoothly. We can then help you find ways to support the back-office operation of your new services, and implement them with your team, so they can delight your customers whilst relying on a useful system to support their tasks. We can also accompany you through the service launch and marketing.

We can help you discover ways to run your operations in such a way that they are efficient, supported with appropriate systems, and focused on delivering value to your customers.
